SAR High School is a mission-driven, co-educational, Modern Orthodox Jewish high school committed to student-centered learning in a challenging and supportive environment. The Assistant Director of Communications and Marketing will report to the Director of Communications and Marketing. The person in this role is responsible for marketing and communications initiatives and supporting all facets of the Communications and Marketing department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

*Manage and grow the school’s Instagram (and Facebook) presence, creating engaging content tailored to students, parents, and prospective families.
*Develop and expand the YouTube channel, transforming it from a simple video repository into a dynamic platform for storytelling and school highlights.
*Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all digital platforms.

*Serve as the primary updater of the WordPress website, maintaining a steady flow of news stories and event highlights to keep the site fresh and engaging.
*Manage, organize and share the school’s photo gallery, ensuring high-quality event coverage.

*Design flyers, promotional materials, and digital graphics for internal and external marketing using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
*Assist in crafting clear and compelling messaging for school communications.

*Gather information and draft articles for newspaper features on academic, co-curricular, chesed, and athletic events.
*Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to capture and share impactful moments from school life.
*Support and coordinate community outreach events alongside the Director of Marketing.
*Graduation: Support and collaborate with Director of Communications & Marketing and Director of Operations all aspects of graduation
*Support and collaborate with the Director of Communications & Marketing and Director of Operations on other high school events

*Assist with a variety of communications & marketing projects, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission and values.
*Collaborate with Director of Communications & Marketing, Director of Operations on internal and external email communications.
*Contribute to the development of marketing strategies that enhance school engagement and visibility.
