Brauser Maimonides Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Upper Elementary General Studies Teacher to join our exceptional team for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will possess prior teaching experience, a passion for education, and strong classroom management skills. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in core subjects such as Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a focused and respectful learning atmosphere.
Assess student progress through various formative and summative methods, and use data to guide instruction.
Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student performance and address concerns.
Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and share best practices.
Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
Uphold the mission and values of Brauser Maimonides Academy in all interactions with students, staff, and families.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably at the upper elementary level.
Proven ability to implement effective classroom management techniques.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to fostering a love of learning and developing the whole child.
