Brauser Maimonides Academy (BMA), a Modern Orthodox preschool–8th grade Jewish day school, seeks a passionate STEM Educator for the 2025-2026 school year. This role supports the Director of STEM Innovation and Education, engaging students in Computer Science, Coding Fundamentals, and Robotics through hands-on learning.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development: Assist in designing an age-appropriate STEM curriculum for elementary students.
Instruction: Deliver engaging lessons fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.
Coding & Robotics: Teach foundational coding concepts and lead students in robot design, construction, and programming.
Technology Integration: Utilize the latest educational technology to enhance learning.
Collaboration: Work with fellow educators to develop interdisciplinary STEM projects.
Professional Growth: Stay updated on STEM education trends and share best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or higher in Education, STEM, Computer Science, or related field.
Teaching certification and/or K-8 teaching experience.
Proficiency in age-appropriate coding languages and robotics platforms.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
