WORK SCHEDULE
Working hours are generally 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; additional hours may be required in the evenings and weekends for Development-related events.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Support growth of the $1M+ Annual Giving program:
Support the Director of Development in the cultivation and stewardship of leadership ($10K+) donors.
Work with colleagues and lay leaders to boost giving and retention, including but not limited to preparing peer-to-peer talking points and identifying segments to target with special communications or solicitations.
Conduct qualification meetings with leadership giving prospects.
Focus on grandparents and parents of alumni giving from acquisition to retention.
Manage special events and other engagement opportunities:
Serve as lead on cultivation and stewardship events, including but not limited to annual leadership donor event, donor recognition events, and alumni community receptions.
Serve as lead on fundraising events as determined such as gala, auctions, raffles, etc.
Develop new grandparent engagement opportunities in partnership with the Parents Association and academic administrators.
Take ownership of event management including the run of show, coordinating personal outreach as appropriate, securing catering and photographers, and generally ensuring all aspects of events are completed in a timely manner.
Support growth of Major Giving program:
Partner with Director of Development on moves management strategies for individual prospects.
Help identify prospects’ areas of interest for restricted giving solicitations.
Draft and customize giving menus and proposals based on donor preferences.
Prepare gift agreements as needed.
Help manage communications, cultivation, and stewardship of restricted giving support.
Ensure acknowledgement letters for restricted gifts are accurate and the language appropriately reflects the impact of the gift.
Support lay leadership engagement:
Participate in planning agendas for Development Committee meetings.
Strategize how to best leverage the talent of Development Committee members.
Keep Board and Committee pipeline spreadsheet updated and support Governance Committee work.
Manage engagement programming and volunteers as needed.

Perform other related duties as assigned or required; duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the discretion of the Director of Development.
