The Goldie Margolin School for Girls, the high school division of Margolin Hebrew Academy, is seeking an up-and-coming, dynamic, and passionate teacher-leader in Judaic studies who is inspired by the opportunity to help each of our students realize her potential. This position requires a background in Judaic formal and informal education, with creativity and expertise in “what works” in high school education. Our selected leader will work closely with the Head of School and the high school administrative team, serving as a role model for faculty, staff, students, and the broader Memphis community in Jewish living and learning.
Our school is dedicated to fostering academic excellence in Judaic studies alongside general studies. We have a 75-year commitment to Torah learning and living, as well as a deep love for Hashem, the Jewish People and the State of Israel. We take pride in cultivating young women who are knowledgeable, informed and passionate about their unique roles in the Jewish community and the wider world.
While the majority of GMSG students are local, we also provide a dormitory for out-of-town students. Located in Memphis, TN, our school is part of a warm and growing community that offers many of the amenities found in larger cities, while maintaining the unique warmth of smaller communities. The school is situated in the heart of the neighborhood, close to synagogues, two Kollelim and a kosher bakery, and it includes preschool, elementary, and yeshiva boys high school divisions.
If you possess the motivation, skills, and experience to elevate GMSG to new heights, we invite you to reach out for further details.
