Job Purpose:
A Jewish private school serving individuals with disabilities, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Principal to head our educational administrative team. As a vital leader of our special educational program, you will play a crucial role in creating a dynamic and nurturing learning environment that fosters academic excellence in secular and judaic subject matter, social- emotional well-being, and equity for all students. You will collaborate with faculty, therapeutic staff, parents, and the community to implement a comprehensive educational and therapeutic program aligned with New York State standards and our school’s vision.
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in special education.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a school leadership
® Fluency in the Modern Orthodox Jewish culture, practice, religion and subject matter.
Demonstrated commitment to upholding ethical conduct and adhering to professional standards
Understanding and commitment to the rights and well-being of all students.
Strong moral character and leadership integrity.
Understanding of current educational trends and best practices, particularly regarding students with disabilities.
Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Proven track record of supporting academic achievement and closing achievement gaps is preferred.
Experience in implementing school improvement initiatives.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire staff and students is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Diploma/SAS in educational leadership or related field.
Experience in a private Middle School/High School.
