The Ramaz School is seeking an innovative, experienced educational leader to serve as our Nursery – Fourth-Grade Instructional Coach.

The ideal candidate for this leadership position will:
● Inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning through hands-on, interdisciplinary, and design thinking approaches.
● Maintain a cohesive, dynamic academic program that meets the needs of diverse learners.
● Foster a collaborative learning environment among teachers to share innovative, best practices and resources to engage students, enhance learning, and cultivate positive relationships.
● Stay current with educational research and trends, with a commitment to being
a life-long learner interested in continual personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
● Collaborate closely with teachers to support curriculum development, alignment, and implementation while ensuring high academic standards and continuity across grade levels.
● Facilitate the development and documentation of curriculum for Nursery – Fourth grade.
● Monitor student academic progress using best-practice assessment tools and provide guidance to teachers and staff related to academic support and enrichment.
● Observe classroom instruction regularly, offering feedback and support to enhance teaching practices and student learning outcomes.
● Design and implement professional development opportunities for faculty.
● Organize, lead, and facilitate meetings with faculty.
● Serve as an integral member of the N-4 educational leadership team.

Qualifications:
● Advanced degree in education.
● Previous instructional coaching or school leadership experience required.
● Demonstrated expertise in child-centered academic curriculum.
● Knowledge of age-appropriate developmental milestones and skills.
● Proven ability to form strong relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
● Strong proficiency with using technology in and out of the classroom.
● Genuine appreciation for children, knowledge of the challenges they face today, and commitment to their academic, social, and emotional well-being.
● Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
● Good-humored, joyful, flexible, creative, and patient.
