We are seeking an experienced and passionate Middle School Humanities Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will engage students in critical thinking, reading, and discussion while fostering a love for history, literature, and writing in a supportive and dynamic classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging lessons in humanities, including literature, writing, and history.
Foster critical thinking, reading comprehension, and analytical writing skills.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum alignment and student success.
Create a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement.
Supervise students during non-instructional times.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education, humanities, English, history, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience teaching middle school humanities preferred.
Strong knowledge of literature, writing instruction, and historical concepts.
Excellent classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
