We are seeking a dynamic and growth-oriented Middle School Judaic Studies Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will engage students in meaningful Jewish learning, foster critical thinking, and create a supportive and inspiring classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging lessons focused on Jewish texts, traditions, and values.
Encourage thoughtful discussions and deeper connections to Judaic studies.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and curriculum alignment.
Communicate effectively with parents to promote student success.
Manage the classroom to encourage positive behavior and engagement.
Supervise students during non-instructional times.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education, Judaic studies, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, particularly in Judaic studies.
Strong knowledge of Jewish history, texts, and traditions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
