Summary:
An Education Supervisor will develop, plan, and implement curriculum and educational programs for students. The Education Supervisor will oversee, mentor, and collaborate with teachers and support staff.

Core Functions:

· Work with teachers and support staff to ensure continued curriculum development.
· Develop students’ cognitive capacity and respect for learning and maintain a classroom atmosphere conductive to learning.
· Maintain good order and respect among students, teachers, and paraprofessionals.
· Promote understanding of the school’s rules and values, safeguard health and safety, and develop relationships with and between students that are conducive to
learning.
· Maintain an attractive and stimulating classroom environment and contribute to displays in the school.
· Establish a cooperative relationship with all assigned students and foster students’ self-esteem, motivation, and sense of civic responsibility.
· Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians.
· Engage in professional growth activities through an ongoing program of job-related knowledge and skill development.
· Work collaboratively with other classrooms, related services, classroom staff, and program personnel to achieve each individual student’s needs and goals and
the overall purposes of the school program.
· Supervision and provide feedback to classroom staff.
· Conduct IEP’s and participate in CSE meetings.

· Knowledge of NYS Graduation/Regent exam requirements

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years teaching experience.
· Must have a NY state initial certification.
· Administrative experience a plus

Salary Range-$ 75,000-$85,000

Schedule- Monday – Thursday 7:50am-4:00pm Friday 7:50am-1:30pm
