Online Hebrew Literacy Course

I have a student who would like to strengthen her Biblical Hebrew vocabulary and reading skills over the summer.
She needs to review how to read pesukim accurately with nekudot. She needs to build a shoresh and word bank so that she would be able to read and translate most pesukim.

In light of Lookjed 60, I understand that this is far from ideal but nevertheless, can anyone recommend an online program that she could use?
Any other out of the box suggestions for a rising sophomore in August?

Thanks so much,
Elana Flaumenhaft

In response to Elana Flaumenhaft’s shoresh request. A great resource that is available for shoresh bank building and review are a set of 100 Chumash shoresh flash cards that have been created by Rabbi Eliezer Kessler, a rebbe in Houston Texas. They include the shoresh, a translation and a graphic! I am not sure if other venues offer this product for sale but you can get them from our educator store for $16 + s & h by contacting me at the Center for Jewish Education at 410-735-5026 or Lpushett@cjebaltimore.org

There is no set programme per se that is all on the open web.
I list online resources for Classical Hebrew here, including some grammar books:

I have created a summer homework program for my students which consists of about three hundred "site words". Almost all of these words appear ten times or more in the book of Beraishit. Obviously, these are very important words in terms of building a Biblical vocabulary bank.

I have put this material online in the form of a workbook and a number of interactive quizzes. The workbook is broken into an eight week review schedule which makes it ideal as a summer review. The online component has a number of words students can review each day and then at the end there is a quiz on the unit. Please bear in mind this is not a full fledged course, nor was it ever intended to be. I will be the first to admit students might find it boring. It was primarily created as a review drill for students who have studied the book of Beraishit. Putting it online makes it slightly more interesting then doing the exercises with pen and paper. So please see it for what it is. Having said that, if your student is motivated, they might find it useful.

Here is the link.

[torahskills.org]

Note: To take quizzes, your student will need to create an account on the site.

If anybody else has any use for this, please feel free. As always, feedback is is welcome.

Sincerely,

The list is organized, in a cursory way, into nouns, adjectives, verbs, etc... It should be organized further, but it might be a good place for her to start.
