A friend of mine has a question on Rashi's peirush in Parshat Matot:
Rashi (31:2) says that the Moabites and Amonites were spared from war as Rut and Naama Haamonit were future descendants. But why Naama? The meforshim in Melachim I (14:21) say she led Rechavam astray after idolatry. So why is viewed in a positive light?
