Once again, my recommendation for teachers who are looking for material for teaching Jewish studies is to make use of lesson plans developed by the experts at the Israeli Misrad ha-Hinukh (the Ministry of Education). In Tanakh specifically, a new syllabus has just been introduced that totally revamps the Tanakh curriculum that is taught in religious schools in Israel. The syllabus can be accessed at [
www.lilmod.cet.ac.il] together with a wide range of support materials that are available on the site.
The new syllabus is not without its detractors (perhaps I will write more about that in an upcoming Lookjed digest), but there is certainly much material online that a good teacher can use in a variety of different ways.
