Hello LookJed Folk -

I am looking into the use of Kindles, Nooks or other e-readers for our students. Distributing these devices will save money and trees, but I am curious how if other Yeshivot have done so and how they have navigated the Shabbat issue. (I am not looking for a heter to use such a device on Shabbat.) It seems to me that distributing a paper copy for Shabbat use in addition to the electronic version defeats the purpose.

Any ideas?
