Preparing for a "declaration of statehood"

I was wondering if anyone has given any thought to educational planning for the Fall in the event that the United Nations supports the declaration of a Palestinian state. How will we present the issue to our students? How will we compare and contrast it to the events of 1948? How can we use it to help fortify our studentsÂ’ commitment to Israel? If anyone has any ideas or can refer me to educational resources it would be most appreciated.
