I noticed that there has been a few postings about my Zionism curriculum. Here is a brief description:
"This resource guide, (published by the Jewish Agency for Israel, 3rd edition, 2010) which provides a curricular foundation for the understanding of Zionist history, is intended to endow both students and educators alike with a sense of pride and understanding of modern Zionism and its achievements.
The units in this guide are structured to paint broad-brush strokes of Zionist literacy and focus on key documents and understand the motivation of the heroic men and women who helped shape the Zionist dream. There are many “triggers” that should lead to passionate group discussion and debate. The clips on the suggested films list ed in the index will enhance many units.
In addition, the educator should also utilize the resources provided in the appendix in order to develop a comprehensive course on Israel that will provide the students with the specific responses to challenging questions."
