We are working with some community leaders here to advance the idea of Jews helping other Jews. We hear objections. Do you have suggestions for a case statement why it is important for Jews to consider the needs of other Jews as they survey all those in need around them? Why Jews should care about helping other Jews separate and apart, not necessarily instead of, helping others?
